RICHMOND PSYCHOLOGICAL ASSOCIATION
Description:
The Richmond Psychology Association (RPA), founded in 2011, aims to further educate Psychology students, encourage awareness about relevant psychological issues beyond the classroom, and help support students mental health and well-being.
What we do:
Our goal is to support our student body by relieving students of stress and optimizing a holistically healthy experience (e.g. recover happy: hangover cure, puppy therapy during exam periods, Virgin Active/Lululemon collaborations), as well as providing opportunities for to add to the depth/breath of being a Richmond Psychology student (e.g. PsiChi accreditation, annual conference, career workshops).
We are currently working on an affiliation with Nightline, a helpline for university students and a panel career workshop.
